How Cacao Called Me

So let's start rigth away by letting you in on a little secret: Since being little I have had a love affair with cacao! And since a few years, I have a very special one with CEREMONIAL CACAO ;)

I let you in on another secret: Going on a first date with ceremonial cacao probably doesn't turn ot to be an immediate fairytale like 'taking that first sip and being madly in love'. I always say it's a process, it's a relationship that needs respect, honor, devotion, willingness to explore, to connect, to evolve and to grow together. To share, to be vulnerabe, to reflect, to understand and to innerstand. But as you open up more and more to its magic the juicier it gets, the sacred elixir can flow through your system and you can laugh, feel the bliss, the gratitude, the ecstasy, the excitement, the shift, the embodiment. And then you may go back to questioning your experiences, feeling irritated, sad. It's a dance. One day you might need more sweetness, so you add some natural sugar, another time you crave more spice, so you stir in some chili. And some times you just want it raw, authentic, pure and simple.

I remember experiencing my first cacao ceremony in Sri Lanka, not necessarily where you find most of ceremonies happening but hey when Mama Cacao calls you, she will provide a way for you to answer ;) It took another two years until I decided to backpack through Mexico, Costa Rica and Guatemela to learn more about this heart-opening plant medicine and experience many ceremonies myself.

Within a ceremony a special, very sacred and multidimensional space is created which allows our consciousness to switch and move beyond our common daily linear beta brain waves into an alpha or sometimes even theta state which establishes a multifaceted expanded perception that is not tied to the time space continuum as we know it. There are many existing plant medicines that can shift us into these higher realms, yet cacao is doing so in a very gentle and loving way. Cacao Deva or Cacao Goddess is the spirit behind the material form of cacao which we can consume as a drink and she carries a high frequency that opens our sacred heart portals. If you intentionally call in her medicine she will guide you to access your intuition and the dimensions beyond your logical mind.
